PRESENT

Casa de pan (House of Bread) Costa Rica.

Rocio Swaim had a dream prior to having COVID-19 and a near death experience that God wanted her to establish a food distribution center that would not only distribute food but also connect local churches and pastors in the community for the purpose of evangelism and prayer.

Well, prior to her COVID-19 illness Rocio and her team of family and friends began to distribute food to local families and an orphanage.

Our dream is to have friends, family and all who God has called come along side us with prayer and financial support. We will be seeking monthly sponsors and asking people to donate to City Lights Dream Center with gifts of $5, $50, $150 or more. These funds will be used to  purchase groceries and to provide a Center/house for the team to work out of. We currently feed approximately 15 families, and an orphanage. Our first goal is to provide for 100 families and, if possible, 200 and then 300 families.

It takes about $10 to bring beans and rice to a family of 5 that will last 2-3 days. $150 will feed approximately 15 families. You can see why we believe God will provide monthly sponsors. We are looking forward to expanding those numbers, through your help.

Also post healing with Rocio. Casa de pan(House of Bread) is now leasing a house five minutes from our house. We have been given an opportunity to purchase the property at $75,000. The rent is $480/month. Please pray about our purchase of this property and how much the Lord will have you contribute.

Casa de pan will be there for families and missionaries that would love to come to Costa Rica for a time of outreach short term missions. A mission adventure, if you will. Please see our video and pictures to be inspired.

Another goal we have is to purchase a property and fix it up with beds, furniture and appliances. We believe we will need around $50,000.

Please be praying for us as we raise up our team that will help us supply food for the community. Several families have lost everything due to COVID-19 and need food to survive..They get no assistance or government assistance checks.
